recently, i have read a book called which is writted by hemingway.though the novel talks about a very easy story of a old fisherman, i am greatly moved by his spirit.he let me understand that a person only have unremitting spirit can he succeed,

what the novel is described is an old fisherman who is almost sixty years old go to fishing alone.after 84 days for getting nothing, he angled a big malin fish.he has not seen such a big fish before which exceeds several times of his fishing boat.after struggling with the fish for two days and night, the old fisherman kills the malin fish finally.however, the smell of the fish attract sharks vie for the food.bravely as the old fisherman struggles with the sharks, the malin fish is eaten up by the sharks.finally, the old fisherman only takes back a bald framework.

maybe, in someone’s eyes, the old fisherman isn’t a winner, because he only takes back a bald fish framework at last.but as far as i am concerned, he is a real winner.it is indifferent whether he takes back a whole fish or a bald one, because a man, his value has been fully embodied in the course of struggle with the malin fish and the sharks.no matter what difficulties he meets, he never gives up his hope.he doesn’t compromise with the sea, the malin fish and the sharks all the time.

for us, meet some little difficulties at ordinary times, all of us complain bitterly.we are the future of mother land, should be as

jane eyre, one of the most famous works of charlotte bronte’s, is an inspiring story about a miserable girl who pursue freedom, independence and true love. the story of the independent minded jane and her love affair with mr. rochester opened up new dimensions for women both as writer and generations of feminists. jane eyre, the tough girl, really impresses me very much.

one of jane’s impressive and admiring personalities is her self-respect. she wasn’t beautiful, and the ordinary appearance didn’t make others feel good of her. and some others even thought that she was easy to look down on and to tease. but as jane had said: ‘do you think, because i am poor, obscure, plain, and little, i am soulless and heartless? you think wrong!’ this is the idea of self-respect in jane eyre’s mind. god hadn’t given her beauty and wealth, but instead, god gave her a kind mind and a thinking brain. her idea of self-respect impresses me so much and let me feel the power inside her body.

the other gorgeous personality i value very much is her selfless love. after leaving thornfield with a broken heart, jane experienced quite a lot. she refused the proposal of st. john, a handsome priest who helped her a lot when she was starving. later, jane inherited a wealth of fortune from her uncle which she shared with her three cousins. but when hearing that mr. rochester had lost his eyesight and made his body serious injured while saving his mad wife in a conflagration during which his wife died and all his property was destroyed, jane returned to thornfield immediately and devoted her love to mr. rochester. what a great decision for her to go back! if i were jane, i couldn’t promise to get married with mr. rochester who is in such a terrible situation. however, jane did with all her heart!

i like the novel very much, especially the character ‘jane eyre’ who is a great woman in my mind. jane makes me realize the importance of self-respect and understand what the true love is. in this sophisticated society, we may not avoid being contaminated, but we can remind ourselves of jane eyre and try to be an independent and strong-minded person who treasures self-esteem and true love.

in the winter holiday.i read a book.it is very wonderful.it's name is "the monkey's paw".the book tells about the whites and a paw's story.mr.white's friend gave him a small and dirty paw.he said "it can makes your dreams come true.but you'll feel unhappy."mr.white wanted ?3000.and after some days,he got ?3000,but his son deid.the end is mr.white and his wife were very sad.

i think “the monkey's paw” is very useful.because it tells us some important things.such as "get something for nothing." is impossible.we must do every things by ourselves.and we must know learn by doing.

when i was 10 years old.i was not good at math.and i had tried to find many escape solutions.but no one is good for me.my mother tolds me,"learn by doing",and i did some test questions.now,my math is ok.i think my story likes "the monkey's paw".and in the new future,i will do every things by my self and do not rely on my father and mother.i know i am the best.

the hero holton, a plicated and contradictory young man, came into my sight with his mouth full of dirty words. his cynicism caused a negative rebellion. he believed that no one in the adult society was credible, all "false hypocrite", and he longed for simplicity and sincerity, but all was false and deceptive, and he was unable to change the situation, and finally promised and even fled to the real society. in the real world, go to the backcountry to pretend to be a deaf and dumb person. but he has a childlike innocence, a pursuit of a better life and a noble ideal. in order to protect the children from falling off the cliff, he also longed to grow up as a "catcher in the wheat field", giving out the voice of "saving the children". in a word, he is a lonely and struggling man, but he is a man who demands the perfect man in the world and is helpless to yield to the reality. the kind and uneasy situation of the contradictory man is jumping, bleeding, and my eyes full of sympathy.

每一个人都有各自喜欢的书籍。其中我比较喜欢看《鲁滨孙漂流记》。因为这本书中的主人公——鲁滨孙，是一个勇敢、有主见的人。而我就比较喜欢这类的人。

英国著名作家丹尼尔·笛福把鲁滨孙的一个个故事，一个个情节写得栩栩如生。其中我最喜欢看的部分就是第一章了。因为这一段情节描述了鲁滨孙在遇难后的生活，与自己辛勤努力的结果，而且在这儿的从中体现出了他的机智与勇敢。

鲁滨孙居然能在荒岛上生活了28年，这个巨大的数字，是我们每一个人所不能承受的，而且他在那个鬼地方无依无靠，只能用自己的双手与智慧来战胜困难，但是我觉得他也是十分幸运的，因为在这么多人中，只有他幸存下来，他利用自己的智慧与勇敢战胜了困难。在1868年终于回到了祖国，离别了28年的祖国。

他的精神十分值得人佩服。这使我明白了，不论遇到什么困难，都不是不可能战胜的，所以我们一定要勇敢的面对。
