自从“瑞瑞和鑫鑫”离我而去之后，我几乎每天都向妈妈求再养，再养。就这样天天在她耳边唠叨，也许是听烦了，也许是想通了……
今天中午，我悠闲的坐在沙发上，一边吃着冰棍，一边看着综艺节目。这时，妈急冲冲地走进来，我正诧异之时瞧见了妈妈手里的两个袋子，一袋小金鱼，另一袋……就是我心心念念、期待已久的小仓鼠，而且还是两只哦！怪不得妈妈那么急，原来是怕它们夭折在半路上。
两只小仓鼠活泼又可爱。一只白色的，一只灰色的，我给它们取名小白和小灰。在这炎热的夏天，它们的“家”就不能放木屑了，要改成流沙，幸好妈妈提前给我准备好了。我把流沙薄薄的铺上一层，再安装上食槽，还有玩耍消遣的滚轮，新家就算布置好了。
本来活泼好动的小家伙，进去之后确出奇的安静，看来地盘不熟，不能妄动。不过它们很快便适应了，窝在角落边的小白也不在抖了，小心翼翼地朝食槽靠近，小灰也这里嗅嗅，那里刨刨，慢慢地靠近食物。
适应后的小家伙们胆儿也肥了，小灰手脚并用快速跑向出口边，露出它的小白牙到处啃。我心想：刚进来就想越狱吗？美的吧！“嘭”！“嘭”！铁门被撞开了，（原来我激动的忘记锁门了）小灰趁我不注意越狱成功了。我哪能让它逃跑，伸手一把把它抓住，又轻轻地放了回去。
